Cookie policy
There is no cookie banner on this site because there are no cookies on this site. Here is exactly what that means.

The short version
This website sets one cookie, and only if you close the notice at the bottom of the screen. It records that you closed it, so it stops appearing. Nothing else is stored on your device — no local storage, no session storage, nothing with an identifier in it.
There is no accept-or-reject gate because there is nothing to gate: no analytics, no advertising, nothing that follows you off this site.
The one cookie
- Name: fgs-notice
- Value: 1 — it holds no identifier, and nothing that could be traced back to you
- Set when: you press “Got it” on the notice. Ignore the notice and no cookie is set at all
- Lives for: about six months, first-party, SameSite=Lax
- Purpose: strictly necessary — it remembers a choice you made, which is the one case UK law lets a site cover without asking first
Clear your cookies and the notice comes back. That is the whole mechanism.
What that rules out
- No analytics — we do not count you, and we cannot tell you apart from anyone else.
- No advertising or retargeting pixels, and no social media trackers.
- No third-party scripts. Fonts, images and code are served from this domain, apart from our own chat widget, which loads from agentai.futuregenstudio.com.
- No consent gate — the notice tells you what is stored, it does not ask.
What still happens when you visit
Your browser asks our hosting provider for a page, and that request is logged — IP address, user agent, what was requested, when. That is a server log, not a cookie: it is not stored on your device and it is not used to recognise you on a later visit.
The privacy policy covers what is in those logs and how long they are kept.
The chat assistant and the chat demo
The chat button on every page is the live FutureGen Agent, our own product, loaded from agentai.futuregenstudio.com. It sets no cookies. It uses your browser’s storage instead:
- aac:visitor:… (local storage) — a random visitor ID, written when a page loads, so the assistant can recognise a returning visitor. It stays until you clear your browser’s site data.
- aac:autoOpenConsent:… (local storage) — whether you accepted or dismissed the assistant’s offer to open, so it does not ask again.
- aac:… (session storage) — the open conversation, so it survives moving between pages. It clears when you close the tab.
What you type into it is sent to that application — see the privacy policy.
The interactive demos on the product pages are different: they run entirely in your browser from a fixed set of questions, store nothing, send nothing anywhere, and forget the conversation when you leave the page.
Our own products
FutureGen Agent and FutureGen Hotel Booking are applications, not this marketing site, and they do use cookies where one is needed to keep you signed in or to hold a booking together. Each is covered by its own policy, provided with the product.
If this changes
The first non-essential cookie set on this site will arrive with a consent banner that asks before it is set, and this page will be rewritten and re-dated before that happens. Questions in the meantime: hello@futuregenstudio.com.
